The ultimate spiritual process: Creating something new. Whether it is art, music, science, technology, food, literature. The field does not matter. The utility does not matter. The process of creating something new, at least to the creator, is the most blissed-out one can get. That is the moment when we are in touch with the universal energy. The inspiration that drives me out of negative thoughts and beliefs, the burst of passion that gives me a new lease of energy to embrace with love and look at it with awe.
What would be the best strategy to get out of burn out, lack of motivation and drive? My answer is doing nothing and just sit down the cushion watching the thoughts. It is counter-intuitive to think that doing nothing will help you to get maximum things to get done. But, I am getting the sense that it might be true. We will see.
