Standing Still

I am sitting still on a yoga mat in meditation. Nothing is moving. I am breathing in and out very slowly, without disturbing the air. The whole world is standing still in front of my concentration.

But I am aware that this feeling is just an illusion. I am anything but standing still. The earth is rotating around its own axis and also around Sun. The whole solar system is moving in the whirlpool of Milky way. Milky way is moving out along with other galaxies in this ever-expanding universe. But to me I am standing still.

Looking into myself I realize that I am nothing but a huge cluster of particles. My body is vibrating with ever buzzing protons, neutrons, electrons and other tiny sub-particles they are composed of. I am not aware of their continuous motion. May be some of the atoms are trying to meditate in side me and might be living under the illusion that it is sitting still on a yoga mat.

Am I even an atom for this universe? Who am ‘I’ to begin with?
