We see a reflection of ourselves in everything we look. Herman Hesse wrote “If you hate a person, you hate something in him that is part of yourself. What isn't part of ourselves doesn't disturb us.” Trust is another phenomenon that has similar quality. If one does not trust oneself, s/he would not be able to trust anyone else. I believe trust in other people is a major factor driving our peace of mind. If we are among the people we trust, the peace will shower upon us. If nations trust each other more, peace will befall the world. It all start with trust in oneself. It start with integrity, honesty and love. Ultimately, these are the qualities that we should try to teach our children.
Trust, the very foundation of peace!
